NAFI Connecticut, Inc. has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2022 honor by The Hearst Connecticut Top Workplaces.
The list of winners was announced Sept. 25 and marks the seventh consecutive year of Top Workplaces honors from either Hearst, The Hartford Courant, or both.
Hearst also honored NAFI CT in 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2021. The Courant named NAFI CT to its Top Workplaces list for five consecutive years: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures 15 culture drivers critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection.

In all, 188 employees participated in the survey from the NAFI operations guided and managed by the leadership of NAFI CT, which include NAFI Rhode Island and NAFI New York.
Among the employee feedback submitted were the comments below:
“I think the culture of NAFI is great. They care about their employees and want us all to succeed.”
“Feedback is always requested and encouraged and validated. Leadership
responds in a caring fashion to concerns and is not defensive in any way.”
“It feels good to get positive feedback even when it’s just a thank you or nice job, etc. Some supervisors even hand out gift cards to acknowledge people’s hard work and effort.”
“I am able to make a difference in others’ lives. I have the support of my supervisor and director. I am encouraged to prioritize my family and create a positive work/life balance.”
“It’s a one stop shop: Wonderful teammates, colleagues, the flexibility, family sense, encouragement of self-care and personal family highlights. The ability and platform to grow and develop in my supervisorial role. The main element I would say, is the support that I have received all throughout the years of being a part of the NAFI family. I am grateful to be a part of the NAFI CT.”
