NAFI Connecticut, Inc. once again has been named to the state’s Top Workplaces list by Hearst Connecticut Media. The 2021 list was announced in a Sept. 26 special section.
This year marks the sixth consecutive year of Top Workplaces honors for NAFI CT from either Hearst, The Hartford Courant, or both.
Hearst also honored NAFI CT in 2016, 2017 and 2020.
The Courant named NAFI CT to its Top Workplaces list for five consecutive years: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020.
In 2020, NAFI CT also received a special Top Workplaces award for its values from the Courant, and a special award for training from Hearst.
Top Workplaces lists are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The anonymous survey measures 15 culture drivers critical for the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection.
More than 145 NAFI CT staff members participated in the this year’s survey—and only 56 companies made this year’s Hearst list.
“We’re honored to be named a Top Workplace for a sixth consecutive year,” said Lynn Bishop, Executive Director of NAFI CT, as well as NAFI operations in Rhode Island and New York. “I want to thank our employees for supporting and affirming NAFI as a great place to work—but, more importantly, for their passion, dedication, and resilience, especially during COVID when our mission to empower individuals and strengthen families became much more difficult.”
“Lynn is an amazing leader, but I think she’ll agree that our staff members are the real reason NAFI CT is one of Connecticut’s Top Workplaces,” added Amy Lefebvre, Assistant Executive Director of NAFI CT.
“Our staff members know that as much as we want their A-game every day, we deeply care about their goals and aspirations,” added Jessica Clow, Director of Training & Development for NAFI CT. “We’re committed to professional development and career advancement, even when it means we lose a NAFI ‘family member’ to a new opportunity.”
“During this very challenging time, Top Workplaces has proven to be a beacon of light for organizations, as well as a sign of resiliency and strong business performance,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage. “When you give your employees a voice, you come together to navigate challenges and shape your path forward. Top Workplaces draw on real-time insights into what works best for their organization, so they can make informed decisions that have a positive impact on their people and their business.”
