NAFI CT, funded by the Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS), works collaboratively with adults with intellectual disabilities in order to maximize their independence within a community of their choosing. Whether living alone or with a roommate, services are built upon the strengths, needs and goals of each person. The ultimate goal is to balance support services while providing opportunities for increasing independence as new skills are learned. Integrating each person into their local community for spiritual, social, employment and recreational opportunities allows each person to thrive and grow with the greatest independence possible.
