NAFI CT’s Child Victims Assistance Project provides holistic care for children impacted by crime and their families. Specialized Care Coordinators work alongside a team of therapists and psychiatrists to support the child and family’s safety, stability, and healing.
Care Coordinators provide:
- Connection to needed resources including housing, childcare, and transportation
- Advocacy and information related to the court system and victim’s rights
- Safety planning and crisis intervention
- Assistance accessing and navigating the CT Victim Compensation Program
All services are free and confidential and made available through the CT Judicial Branch, Office of Victim Services.
