NAFI CT’s Linking Youth to Natural Communities (LYNC) program is a center-based program for court-involved youth (ages 12-17) and their families. The LYNC team consists of program administrators, clinicians, case managers, service specialists, and transportation aides who work together to help youth to make sustainable behavioral changes through an array of evidence-based programming.
Specific services include comprehensive assessment, crisis stabilization and brief individual therapy, case management, skill-building groups, educational/vocational support, and fun family-strengthening activities and programs. LYNC has a strong focus on connecting youth and their families to appropriate grass-roots agencies and natural support systems within their own neighborhoods. This ensures youth are equipped for success during their time involved in the LYNC program and into the future.
